Our Purpose
Friendly Community Outreach Center (FCOC), is a non-profit tutoring and educational assessment center dedicated to helping low-income underserved youth to improve their academic skills. FCOC provides quality tutoring and academic services to children in the community and those attending Title I schools thorughout California.  Our center targets under-funded communities and is designed to serve all children K through 12. 
 

Our Program

FCOC represents a refinement of “Best Practices”, educational, diagnostic and academic testing gained from core experienced educational professionals who will administer the program.

  • FCOC will provide tutoring in the subject areas of Math and English-Language Arts.

  • FCOC will provide one-on-one, small groups and computer-based instruction.

  • The program will operate five days a week, three hours per session.

  • All students will take a pre and post-test to assess their academic growth.

  • A progress report will be provided to parents on a weekly basis and the serving school

              district will be provided a six-week progress report.

FCOC is dedicated to academic achievement and will provide the best services available.

Referrals to private outside tutoring is available upon request.
