Our Purpose
Friendly Community Outreach Center (FCOC), is a non-profit tutoring and educational assessment center dedicated to helping low-income under served youth to improve their academic skills. FCOC provides quality tutoring and academic services to children in the community and those attending Title I schools throughout California. Our center targets under-funded communities and is designed to serve all children K through 12.
Our Program
FCOC represents a refinement of “Best Practices”, educational, diagnostic and academic testing gained from core experienced educational professionals who will administer the program.
FCOC will provide tutoring in the subject areas of Math and English-Language Arts. FCOC will provide one-on-one, small groups and computer-based instruction. The program will operate five days a week, three hours per session. All students will take a pre and post-test to assess their academic growth. A progress report will be provided to parents on a weekly basis and the serving school
district will be provided a six-week progress report.
FCOC is dedicated to academic achievement and will provide the best services available.
Referrals to private outside tutoring is available upon request.
